Our
New Equipments & Capabilities

Geotechnical Division has recently purchased new testing machine/equipment to meet the RMC requirement for testing of coarse and fine aggregate for concrete. These machine/equipment include of  Micro-Deval testing machine, Accelerated polishing machine, sand equivalent test apparatus etc.

Geotechnical Division has setup advance testing system for soil testing in UU, CU, CD, Consolidation test. These testing will be operated with digital data loggers, digital pressure controllers, testing software to run testing automatically. The testing data can be downloaded in the loggers and communicate with software to produce test result on line.

UD samples are sent in from Internal CPG SI department and private SI companies.

Triaxial Machine

Geotechnical Division also carry out Thermal Conductivity test for various type of cable trenching works from PUB and private sector.

Thermal Conductivity Apparatus

Geotechnical Division has capacity in testing soil-mix sample and grout core for UCS test by using UTM with advance testing software. There are various type of samples from tunnel projects, Jet grout projects etc send in for testing. Point load is another common test beside UCS test.
