Wheel Tracking
Test Method
The Pavement
Laboratory is also capable of investigating the
resistance of asphalt mixes to rutting under
repeated loading. It is done by simulating the
effect of traffic conditions, whereby a loaded wheel
is repeatedly passed across a sample under
controlled conditions.
